I think it's clear, especially in these stripped-back recordings, that mental health issues lie at the root of the art that I make. These tracks, along with the support and love from those around me helped me through a real rocky patch in my life. It’s my hope that people who share these struggles also have access to resources to help aid and combat these issues themselves.

As a person of many privileges, I think it’s important to consider the needs of populations systematically disenfranchised to resources that I, and other individuals in my position, may take for granted.

All proceeds from this album will benefit the National Queer & Trans Therapists of Color Network (NQTTCN), a healing justice organization focused on transforming mental health for queer and trans POC. For more info visit www.nqttcn.com
